- Use a few pumps of oil to smooth hair down to make it easier to work with.
- Take a rectangle section at the top and split into 3 sections.
- You’re going to dutch braid this meaning take each outside piece and fold it under the middle, with each piece you fold in grab a friend to go with it.
- Continue this all the way down… Bringing each outside piece to become the middle… basically the opposite of a french braid.
- Once you create the braid… secure it want an elastic.
- Then starting at the top, pull on the outside pieces to loosen the braid and widen it a bit!

- Start by using a few pumps of oil working a few pumps through the top section of your hair.
- Take a section in front splitting it in half and tie in a knot just like tying your shoes.
- Complete that step once or twice more depending on how far back you want to go.
- Finish off with a baby elastic.
